Part of a three-book deal, Netflix options the rights to Sarah Dessen’s Along for The Ride. The streaming site also picked up Dessen’s This Lullaby and Once and For All. Set in a small beach town, Auden plans to spend the summer with her Dad and his new family and her parent’s divorce. Here, she meets Eli, and insomniac like Auden, who shows her the town’s nocturnal world. Bryan Unkeless and Erik Newman will produce the film via their Screen Arcade banner. Alyssa Rodrigues will serve as the film’s executive producer. Rich Green of The Gotham Group brokered the deal on behalf of Leigh Feldman for Leigh Feldman Literary.
